Introduction of Medical Department

Prostatic Disease

The prostate is a walnut-sized organ found only in men and surrounds the urethra just below the bladder. Over adolescence, it grows in size and becomes inflamed, causing symptoms such as prostatitis and prostatic hypertrophy, such as discomfort, pain, and weakness in the perineum or lower abdomen.

Urinary Tumor

Urinary tumors are tumors related to all organs where urine is produced and passed, including kidney cancer, ureter cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer. Usually, if there is no pain, but you accidentally see hematuria on a urine test, you must have a medical examination by a specialist. In Gumi, prostate cancer is currently the number one male cancer, and the incidence of prostate cancer is rapidly increasing in Korea as well. Prostate cancer is a cancer in which the need for early screening is emerging because it can be detected early through blood tests, digital rectal examinations, and ultrasound examinations, and can be cured.

Female Urinary Incontinence

Female urinary incontinence refers to symptoms of urine leakage involuntarily, and the causes are diverse. In general, abdominal pressure is increased, such as coughing or jumping rope, and abdominal pressure urinary incontinence that leaks urine is typical. However, there are other types of urinary incontinence such as overflow urinary incontinence, urgency urinary incontinence and mixed urinary incontinence caused by abnormalities of the bladder and urethra, so it is a disease that requires accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Micturition Disorder

Micturition disorder refers to all the symptoms related to urination. For example, it includes symptoms such as frequent urination, inability to tolerate urination, weak urine stem, or difficulty urinating. The causes of these symptoms are diverse, including dysfunction of the bladder itself, neurological causes, tumors, and inflammation, so it is a disease that requires accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Overactive Bladder

Overactive bladder is a symptom of bladder disorder related to urgency (inability to urinate), and is a clinical syndrome accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination and urinary incontinence. Diseases such as aging, stones, tumors, and inflammation can also cause symptoms similar to those of overactive bladder, so it is important to prove that there are no other diseases to diagnose overactive bladder.

Urinary Stone

Urinary stones may be suspected if there is sudden pain in the flank, lower abdomen, scrotum, or genitals and there is hematuria on a urinalysis. Stones can form in the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra.

Male Sexual Dysfunction and Andropause Disease

Male erectile dysfunction has a variety of causes and is important in that it can appear as the earliest symptom of cardiovascular disease from a medical point of view, and symptoms can worsen if appropriate treatment is not performed. Therefore, it is not a complex to be hidden, but a disease that needs to be quickly revealed and appropriately diagnosed and treated.

Pediatric Urinary Disorders

Scrotal diseases such as scrotal hydrocele, in which the scrotum enlarges, and latent testicles in which the testes are not easily palpable in the scrotum are typical. Other diseases include enuresis, pediatric hematuria and bacteriuria, vesicoureteral reflux, and bladder renal junction obstruction.
