Introduction of Medical Department

The Department of Hemato-Oncology consists of Hematology and Oncology. The Department of Hematology is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of various blood diseases. The Department of Oncology is responsible for the internal medical treatment of solid cancers such as stomach cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer.

In the case of our hospital, the field of hematology deals with anemia such as iron deficiency anemia and megaloblastic anemia, as well as benign blood diseases such as thrombocytopenia and leukocytosis.

The field of oncology is in charge of conservative treatment for lung cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, rectal cancer, ovarian cancer, and other solid cancers. In addition, it is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of pain caused by solid cancer and various complications (hypercalcemia, superior vena cava syndrome, electrolyte imbalance, nerve metastasis, etc.) incidentally caused by solid cancer.

In addition, by operating the Hospice Palliative Care Center, we are contributing to improving the quality of life of cancer patients and their families through appropriate pain treatment and palliative care to end-stage cancer patients who are about to die.
