Disability-friendly medical examination

The medical examination project for the disabled is based on the Act on the Guarantee of the Right to Health and Access to Medical Care for the Disabled, which came into effect on December 30, 2017. We provide medical examination considering the characteristics of disabilities so that people with disabilities can conveniently use national health screening services such as general medical examination and cancer screening.
It aims to help people with disabilities receive medical examinations safely and conveniently through disability-friendly medical examination services, and to use the results of examinations for follow-up care.

Persons subject to medical examination

  • Persons with severe disabilities (grade 1 to 3)
    For persons with severe disabilities of grades 1 to 3 (according to the Enforcement Regulations of the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities Act), health insurance is applied to services such as medical examination assistance for persons with disabilities provided by disability-friendly medical examination institutions. In this case, you must bring your disability registration certificate according to the Enforcement Rules of the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities Act.

Precautions before reservation

  • If you fill out the checklist in advance and make a reservation request, a counselor will call you within 2 days. The reservation date will be finalized after a phone consultation.
  • If we do not contact you more than 3 times, your checkup reservation will be canceled.
  • It is recommended to make a reservation at least one week prior to the desired date of examination.
  • Please note that the desired date for examination may be adjusted depending on the situation of the Health Screening & Promotion Center.

  • If you download and fill out the questionnaire, the time required for reception and examination will be shortened.

  • Items of personal information collected - Required information: name, gender, disability level, date of birth, contact information
  • Retention and use of personal information: Until the purpose of treatment is achieved (including the mandatory period under the Medical Act and related laws)
  • You may disagree to the above privacy policy. If you do not agree, you can use the rest of the functions except for services such as online medical examination reservation, inquiry, and application.
